Nope, this post doesn't have any cute pictures or funny stories. It does however contain a special request. We have gotten several prayer requests from people who are important to us this week. We are posting them here in hopes that you might stand in the gap in intercessory prayer on their behalf.
*Heather's (one of my best friends from college)Mom (health - stroke)
***UPDATE H's mom had a second stroke today and is in ICU
*Heather's Dad (health - recovering from cancer)
*Heather's mother-in-law (health - stage 4 Melanoma cancer)
*Julie's (another wonderful college friend) middle daughter, Mia
(health - they aren't sure exactly what is going on, but are running tests to find out) **UPDATE Mia is in the hospital and they expect her to be there for 5 or more days...she will have surgery on Friday 9/14
*A friend who is in the early stages of divorce - pray especially for their little girl
*Another friend who is in an abusive marriage

This is such a neat post...we should probably all do this more often to share prayer requests and burdens! I am praying for Heather and the others on your list that I do not know. I believe in the power of prayer!
