Cake Bites for SCS!

Hi Everyone! Thank you for taking a second to look at our blog. We had a great time this weekend making these cake bites for you all. I figured I would need to provide some photographic evidence of the fact that this truly was a family affair! We all had a hand in making them, and since they have been cooked I assume that they are safe to eat. They are red velvet with cream cheese icing coated with vanilla or chocolate almond bark. Here's the process (just so you will appreciate them a bit more) 1.)Bake the cake and crumble it after it is done 2.)Add the cream cheese icing to the crumbled cake, mix well 3.)Freeze mixture 4.)Take the mixture out and form the cake bites, refreeze after putting them on a skewer 5.)Melt the almond bark, spoon the bark onto the cake bites individually, tap (don't spin) off the excess icing, sprinkle with toppings immediately (they harden really fast). The pics that I have give some idea about the process. Just know that we had a great time making them and we hope that you enjoy them! We wish you and yours a merry Christmas, we thank God for you and for the chance to be a part of the SCS family.
